In 2008 I gave a performance at in Leos Janacek’s house in Brno. Ever since first visiting it in 2004 with David Matthews, I had dreamt of playing in this intimate, haunted space. So I brought David Matthew’s ‘Winter Journey’ (after Schubert), Pavel Novak’s ’25 Capricci’ (after Janacek) and this:
